Here is a little info about us.

Dan and Mili Nelson:
First met when Mili auditioned and was chosen as a vocalist for a Christian band which Dan was part of in 1975. The group, based out of Seattle, was The Joyous Celebration which was formed in 1971. After touring together for 2 years they were married. The group toured extensively across the US and Canada as well as several tours in Europe and Japan until 1979.
The music was written by members of the group for the most part and much of it was either based on scripture or was scripture set to music. This was during the "Jesus movement" of the 70s .
They performed in churches, high schools, military bases, local TV stations, community colleges, universities, state and federal prisons, concert halls, church camps, retreats, stadiums, large youth gatherings, street corners, a Billy Graham crusade at the Hollywood Bowl, public parks and beaches, tent revivals... You name it. Audiences as large as 10,000, to as small as a few people in a living room. Here are some photos from those years... just for fun, and some recent ones as well.
